WELCOME TO THE LACKAWANNA HISTORICAL SOCIETY ONLINE!

The Lackawanna Historical Society (LHS) has partnered with the Lackawanna County Library System (LCLS) to provide access to its library collection. Below is a link to the LCLS Catalog. You may either limit your search to LHS materials within the LCLS catalog or you may see what is available in the County System including the LHS Library.

To limit your search to the LHS Catalog, click on "Power Search." This will display a large form. Enter your search terms and go down to Location and select the Lackawanna Historical Society before selecting “Search.”

An item listed as “1 copy available at Albright Memorial Library in Lackawanna Historical Society” is only available in our library. If copies are available elsewhere in the system, the name of the Historical Society will not appear in the list directly but we have it. All books in our collection will have the prefix "LHS" in front of the call number.

LHS materials are reference only and do not circulate. LCLS materials may circulate if so noted. They may be borrowed using a LCLS card or through Access Pennsylvania from your local Pennsylvania library.
